Beauty Salons, Nail Technicians,Cosmetologists: Derma Shield™ provides protection against the effects of harsh shampoos, permanent wave solutions, low grade peroxides, all hair sprays and most tints and dyes. Technicians are advised to continue to wear gloves when applying dyes since some of the deep colour in dyes may pass through the barrier. This is due to the unique molecular configuration in dyes, as a result this can discolour fingernails. Derma Shield™ protects nail technicians and their clients from the effects of strong chemicals in acrylics, fibreglass and gel nails, as well as acetone. It is important to apply the product to the cuticle and the skin behind and below the nail.
